Fort Lauderdale approves Flagler Village loop for streetcar project

Although it is my personal opinion that the next extension of the Wave streetcar should have been to Fort Lauderdale International Airport, I am glad the City of Fort Lauderdale is moving forward with the Flagler Village loop. The up and coming area will benefit greatly and it shows that the city is eager to expand on the initial project. I just hope they keep up the momentum and continue to expand the rails to other parts of the city including Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale International Airport, Fort Lauderdale beach, Las Olas Blvd., Sunrise Blvd., and the Tri-Rail station at Broward Blvd. & I-95.
