Bar Crawl Fort Lauderdale Style – By Water Taxi

Stop 1 (Starting Point): Downtowner Saloon
We recommend starting at the Downtowner Saloon, they have great food and drinks on the water overlooking Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful new river. They also have plenty of free parking for patrons where you can leave your vehicle during your adventure. The downtowner offers a variety of menu items including a raw bar, great lunch and dinner options. We recommend the spicy tuna wontons or fried meatballs and an ice cold beer to start things off.

Stop 2: 15th Street Fisheries
Next stop is 15th Street Fisheries. This is one of Fort Lauderdale’s landmarks with great views of the intracoastal and the Fort Lauderdale Marina. The fresh Mahi Tacos are excellent here with a nice cocktail, and if you want to have some fun buy some bait and feed the tarpon!

Stop 3: Bahia Cabana
Ok, try the pina colada…
There is also a pool and beach access here if you want to take a quick swim or catch some sun as a short break from the excursion.

Stop 4: Beach Place
There are numerous bars and restaurants here such as Hooters, Fat Tuesday, Lulus (giant fish bowls) also including all of the restaurants on the strip outside of Beach Place. This is the center point of Fort Lauderdale Beach.
(From here you can continue to Stops 5 & 6 if you’re feeling up to it. They are a bit north and will add at least another two hours round trip to your adventure.)

Stop 6: Bokamper’s Sports Bar and Grill
Bokamper’s is the northernmost stop the water taxi will make a drop off. If you want to catch a game or just looking to grab an ice cold beer you definitely don’t want to skip this stop.

Stop here for some delicious appetizers and asian inspired cocktails. They also have great sushi!

The final stop of the day will be Pirate Republic. This stop will give you a pleasant end to a fun filled day. With an excellent burger and drinks, great views of the water and downtown you’ll likely be saying Arrr Matey!! when you jump on the water taxi back to the downtowner.

From Pirate Republic we recommend jumping back on the water taxi to get you back to your original starting point which is the Downtowner Saloon. If you have a designated driver you can jump in your car from the downtowner and get home safely!
